Mohammed Salah Last Minute Strike Takes Egypt To 2018 Summer World Cup


Egyptian striker and Liverpool playmaker Mohammed Salah convert a late minute penalty strike against Congo in a 2-1 victory making Egypt sealed their place in the forth coming summer world cup in Russia 2018.
The Egyptian side went ahead of their opponent in the 63rd minutes and later the Congolese side equalized 2 minutes from the stoppage regular time. A penalty spot kick was awarded to the Egyptian in the final moment(90+5) which was converted and help the Pharoah side an unassailable four point lead ahead of Uganda in their Group (E).

The head coach of the Egyptian team, Hector Cuper, confessed to reporters that the pressure was much on him to qualify them for the world cup. I had to take hypertensive medicine due to the stress I suffer from constant criticism.

Egypt last qualified to the greatest show piece in 1990, and they will now have the priviledge to participate in the next summer world cup Russia 2018.
