Radamel Falcao Fined €9million Tax Bill .



A Spanish court have fined former Atletico Madrid player Radamel Falcao a Nine(9) million euros tax bill and a possible suspended prison sentence.

The Columbian striker was found guilty of establishing companies in British Virgin Island and Ireland to help shield his real earnings made from image rights during his two years spell at Atletico Madrid between 2011-2013.
A judicial source also reveals that ‘Radamel Falcao’ had already payed €8.2milion euros to the court last year July when he was charged with  a fine owing up to 7.4 million and more. Also the initial 16 month prison sentenced imposed on him was converted to €96,000 euros fine.

In recent times, the Spanish judicial courts have battled with cases of tax defaulters involving football greatest stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, whose failure to remit the necessary tax to the Spanish government were not met.
