A clinical finish from the highly rated PSV Eindhoven forward “Hirving Lozano” in a 35 minutes strike earned Mexicoa well deserved 1-0 victory against defending champions Germany.
The German head coach “Joachim Loew” featured eight of the nine 2014 World Cup winners in his first squad with the likes of Mesut Ozil returning from a knee injury.
It was reported that the German preparation for the 2018 world cup were beset by poor performance results and a whole lots of controversy. And it is likely this problems were magnified today leaving their proud record of never being eliminated in the group stage of a World Cup already in jeopardy.
