We are satisfied with the officiating refereeing and the VAR--- FIFA



Football governing body (FIFA) has affirms its happiness saying it has been “exceedingly satisfied”, with the excellence of the officiating refereeing at this year 2018 World Cup and also believed the introduction of video assistant referees (VAR), has been a great accomplishment.
“FIFA is extremely satisfied with the level of refereeing to date and the successful implementation of the VAR system, which on the whole has been positively accepted and appreciated within our football community.
“It is acknowledged that there will still be discussion and divided opinion surrounding certain decisions and we appreciate [the] understanding that it is not possible for FIFA to comment on each and every situation,” FIFA said in a statement on Wednesday.
The preamble of the video review has concur with a greater number of penalties being awarded.

A total number of 10 penalties have been awarded through the first week of the competition, equaling the same total for the entire group stages in the previous 2014 world cup.
