Reports from the Premier League organizers, have postponed the match fixture between two London rivals Tottenham vs West Ham until 4thJanuary 2018 due to security tension at the Wembley Stadium.
This decision was made by the Advisory Group at the stadium which they recommended maximum crowd sit of only 43,000 at the initial early date, apparently less than half the capacity.
Reason for this postponement was due to the transportation issues, mainly at the local station.
This new development means both teams will just have two days off between Premier league fixtures, after Spurs tackle Swanseaand West Ham go to West Brom on January 2-2018.
With the FA Cup third round fixture scheduled for this weekend around January 6 2018, it is expected that neither Tottenham or West Ham will be allowed to play this coming Saturday, they could be scheduled to play three matches in the space of 6 days.
