Villareal have announced the suspension of one of their player after the player was charged with attempted murder. Ruben Semedo was arrested last week for allegedly hitting and holding an individual in his residential home in the district of Valencia.
The Spanish club released an official statement on their website stating their dismay after the serious crime commited by Ruben Semedo.the statement reads below:
“Always with due respect for the presumption of innocence, the club have decided to suspend the player without pay until a final resolution is made on the disciplinary case that is currently open.”
