Arguably, the best chance for Arsenal was Pierre Emerick Aubameyang’s penalty that was saved by Ederson in the second half of the game. Henrikh Mikhitaryan also wasted a good chance when he shot directly to Ederson. Aubameyang’s poor finishing summed up Arsenal jaded display.
However, Asene wenger defended his teams’s play effort, but lamented about the poor defending; the goals were preventable. I don’t think we can take away from the individual quality of the goals but it was soft defending on our side.
