Bayern Munchen Suffers First Defeat In 19 Matches As They Lost 2-1 To RB Leipzig



The Bundisliga giant Bayern Munchen lost 2-1 in an away fixtures with RB Leipzig on Sunday, just before the international break.

In the first half of the game, Sandro Wegner netted the post to put Bayern Munchen in an early lead, but Naby Kaite equalized for the home side just before the half time whistle. In the second half of the game, both teams displayed great skills but Bayern muchen were punished just few minutes into the 2 half when Timo Werner scored the winning goal for RB Leipzig.

This is the third defeat in 27 German leagues games for Bayern Munchen, while it’s the first ever win for RB Leipzig  over Bayern after three loses in the BUndisliga.

With seven(7) games remaining, Bayern leads Schalke 17points. Bayern Munchen could win the league tittle when they face third place team Dortmud on March 31st --- if Schalke drops  points away to Freiburg on the same day.
