Totteham champions league hope was thwarted last night after losing to the old ladies to decide the destiny of their last 16 tie.

Son Heung 39minutes strike gave the home side an edge before the half time break. In a dramatic display, Totteham wasted a lot of chances in the first 45minutes. Meanwhile Juventus were denied a clear penalty when Douglas Coasta was brought down by Jon Vertonghen.

Gonzalo Higuain 64minutes strike gave juventus a lifeline, which they capitalize on endlessly before Paulo Dybala scored the decisive goal three minutes later.

Totteham fought hard to revive their hope but to no avail. It was a first defeat in 18 matches for the spurs. They last reached the champions league  quarter finals in 2010/2011 season.
