Tunisia made history For Winning their First World Cup game for 40years


Finishing third in their group behind Belgium and England, the North Africa came from a goal down to defeat Panama on Thursday by 2-1. Making it their first ever world cup win since 40years. Both goals came from Fakhreddine Ben Youssef and Wahbi Khazri.
"Today's match was a well-deserved victory for the Tunisian side," said coach Nabil Maaloul.



"When we landed in this group we knew very well that our best hope would be to come third in this group. It is true that we conceded many goals but we conceded goals when we were met with very tough opponents."
The Tunisia national team have appeared at previous four World Cups tournament before participating at this year current tournament in Russia, they last won a match at football's showpiece event in 1978.
