Crotia Humiliates Argentina with a 3-0 Win




The Argentina national team were eager to win against Crotia after a disappointing 1-1 draw against Iceland in their first opener while Croatia needed three maximum points to secure their place in the round of 16.
 
Lots of Chances fell for both sides but they were unable to convert them as they went into the half time break goalless.

Second-half goals from Ante Rebic, Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic sealed a well deserved victory after a poor performance from the Argentine side were left on the edge of an humiliating first round exit.

The Croatia team took the lead ahead after an atrocious mistake by Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero in the 53rd minute, allowing Ante Rebic who lashed home a roaring volley into the net.

This humiliating defeat exposes the Argentines facing a disgraceful replicate of their 2002 world cup campaign when they exited at the group stage.


Lionel Messi hope and dreams of winning the World Cup with his home team now looks secluded.

Croatia now tops their group with six points from two matches, while Argentina are stil battling  with just one point from two matches.
