Spanish giant Atletico Madrid have let go of Augustos Fernandez to Chinese club side Beijing Renhe for an undisclosed transfer fee.
A statement from the Spanish club side reads; “our club has reached an agreement with the Chinese side Beijing Renhe for the transfer of Augustos Fernandez. The midfielder passed a medical test and signed a contract with the Chinese club.”
The club further stated; “A charismatic player is leaving. The midfielder has been an example of fight and dedication towards our team at all times.”
Augustos Fernandezmade 34 appearance in all competitions for Atletico Madrid but his playing campaign 2016/2017 season was truncated by a torn ACL right knee injury in September 2016.
