FIFA 2018 world cup: List of Officiating Referee At The Quarter Final stage


FIFA has announced names of all officiating match officials that will supervise all the quarter finals matches going on at this year world cup.

The first quarter-final match of 2018 World Cup will be between two-time champions Uruguay and 1998 champions France, in Nizhny Novgorod on Friday 6th June, will be officiated by Argentine referee, Nestor Pitana.

The 43-year-old Nestor Pitana will be assisted by compatriots Hernan Maidana and Juan Belatti.

Hernan Maidana will be the Assistant Referee 1 (AR1), Juan Belatti will be the Assistant Referee 2 (AR2).

The Reserve Assistants in the match are Alireza Faghani and Reza Sokhandan, both of Iran nationals.
The second quarter final match between five-time champions Brazil, and European side Belgium in Kazan, will be officiated by Serbian referee ‘Milorad Mazic’. The 45 year old will be assisted by two Serbians.
They are Milovan Ristic, who is the AR1, and Dalibor Djurdjevic, who is the AR2.
The Reserve Assistants are Jair Marrufo and Corey Rockwell.
For Saturday’s  7thJuly 2018 quarter-final match fixture between Sweden and England at Samara, ‘Bjorn Kuipers’ from Netherlands will be the centre referee.
He will be assisted by fellow compatriots ‘Sander van Roekel’ and ‘Erwin Zeinstra’ as AR1 and AR2 respectively.
The fourth official will be Antonio Lahoz who is from Spain, while ‘Pau Cebrian’ will be the Reserve Assistant.
The last quarter-final match fixture will be between the hosts nations Russia and Croatia in Sochi on Saturday will be officiated by Brazilian referee, Sandro Ricci,
Emerson de Carvalho and Marcelo van Gasse named  as AR1 and AR2 respectively.
Reserve Assistant are Janny Sikazwe of Zambia as and Jerson dos Santos of Angola.
