PSV Eindhoven came into the game full of confidence to defeat a team without a head coach but they were shocked with a shameful defeat to Willem II yesterday.
Ben Reinstra superlative strike gave the home side a head lead in the 21st minutes mark. Gaston Periero almost equalized for PSV but was denied by a great save from Willem II goal keeper. Fran Sol doubled the lead for the home side in the 59 minutes and ten minutes later ‘Fran Sol’ converted a penalty spot kick awarded to them.
PSV’s defence was totally in shambles as Willem II continued their strike and Fran Sol completed his hat-trick from the spot just few minutes into the injury time.
Willem II remained in the fifteen position while PSV stays top of the league with a ten points clear from the second place team.
